should i buy Kodak Glossy Photo Paper reviews

I bought this paper to use for scrapbooking. It is fine for that purpose. I also had a few sheets of hp advanced that I used and I noticed on those sheets the colors are more vivid and it produces a more quality page. If your not picky the Kodak paper is fine. It's only noticable if the papers are side by side. Knowing what I know now, though, I would have spent the extra money for the hp paper. This is a 6 mil paper and is very thin, but if you just want to print for a frame, then it is great. The paper is a cross between regular paper and photo paper, because it's glossy like a photo, but thin like a piece of paper.
I like it good for scrapbooking, because it doesn't matter how thick the photo is, just that it printed good & I like the little bit of gloss.
Plus it was a good price for all the photos that I print out for me & my kids to scrapbook. This product is good at all, it is very thick. I don't recommend to buy this item. The print quality is also not good. Love anything Kodak, sorry to see them in a slump, but I love snapshots of just about anything and to have the ability to copy them is great!!!
The ability to make this purchase through Amazon.com is even better! I order this paper to make prints of my paintings. I'm very happy with the results ! Good quality paper on excellent price ! On the packing it says "This KODAK Paper can be used in any conusumer inkjet printer". True! It doesn't say it will produce good results. The output is dark and bluish on my HP printer. It looks dirty and dull! Maybe there is some printer out there it suits! Not recommended! This paper has a nice glossy finish, and it doesn't seem to take up too much ink. I've found that a matte paper setting on my inkjet printer works best for this paper.

The weight is a little light, but that is not a factor considering the pictures I print with this paper go into albums or frames. what a waste of money! i just bought this for the 8x10 photos i wanted to print but the paper is so aweful. It is so dull. Canon photo plus glossy II is just like a photo from a store would be printed on, but this is so dull and darkens the photo too. I wish i didnt waste my money on this product. No way would i ever give it more than 1 star!Plain and simple, this Kodak Photo Paper is junk! Everything I printed on it came out with a pink/reddish tint. Many of you will say "It's probably your settings yadda yadda yadda". That would be a good thought if I hadn't done the simplest type of troubleshooting possible.

I printed a photo on the Kodak paper and then I printed the exact same photo on Canon paper without changing any settings. I then did it again starting with the Canon paper and doing the Kodak paper afterwards. Final result? Both kodak prints matched each other, tinted pink. Both Canon prints matched each other also, but the color was true to life.

I will be returning it for a refund. Sadly though, I can't be refunded for the amount of ink that was wasted. I would have rated this paper at 0 or even negative stars if possible. Seriously, this is Kodak! They've been around since 1888! They've also screwed up big time with this. Enough so, that I won't even try other grades
you would see on photos when you pick them up at the drugstore. This paper says "gloss" but it looks more like a matte finish. Other than that, the photo paper is fine. I purchased this paper in the 25 pack as an experiment for my HP D110 printer. The results for portraits is too much red hue. Regardless of how much I remove the red in photoshop I still get a red hue on skin tone.

I cannot give this 1 star because I do not know if the D110 combined with this paper is a good or bad combination. Currently however, this paper did not work well with this printer.e've been using this paper for proof prints for more than a year -- maybe 20 to 50 sheets a day for "everyday" work -- and our customers are more than satisfied with it. It looks good, prints very nicely, feels decent and has that "Kodak" brand printed on the back of each sheet, which reassures our customer: it's a brand name they know and trust. And the price is outstanding!

It's not the very best, high-end paper that's out there, but for everyday grind-'em-out jobs, it's pretty darned good. Colors look terrific, and black-and-white prints look excellent. We've printed logo samples, diagrams, maps, aerial photos and run of the mill photographs, and they all turn out perfectly good. This paper worked really well with with an HP Photosmart printer. I used this paper to print a PowerPoint presentation with photographs and text on each page. The photos printed with good detail and color saturation and the text was very crisp. I would use this paper again without hesitation.
