If you have a PictureMate Pal, Snap, or Flash printer, you should order ONLY the T5846 for 150 glossy prints OR the T5845-M for 100 matte prints.
If the box does not specifically say that it is for PictureMate Series 200 printers (Pal, Snap, and Flash) such as the T5846 or T5845-M packs - DON'T BUY IT! You will end up with the wrong size cartridge. T5570, T5570-M, and "270" cartridges are not compatible with the PictureMate 200 series.The low rating isn't so much a reflection on the product as it is on the product's packaging. The manufacturer, Epson, knows that it has more than one type of Picturemate system on the market and that the cartridges are not compatible across all Picturemate models - yet the packaging does not state anywhere with which models the print pack is or isn't compatible. This oversight could be easily fixed by adding information to the packaging. This is the best way to purchase the paper for your PictureMate Printer.... The cost comes out to approx $0.21 per print.. When you start using the second cartridge, reorder another pack..The only thing you will need when you buy this package is some extra paper! I love the fact that Epson advertises realistic figures for this package. Some other printer makers do not do this! works like it should
ordered for a printer that I purchased at a garage sale and it works like a charm I have been using this paper with printer pack for years for my Epson Picturemate. It has always been good. When I ordered this product, this page said it would work; now the page says that it wont. Do Not order this for the PictureMate Charm PM225. The ink cartridge is way too big to fit. I will try to upload a phot of the two, very different, ink cartridges. If you look around the prices for the paper and ink combo they are not very cheap compared to some other printers out there. There was a special that came up on Amazon that gave us 2 packs of paper and 2 ink cartridges in one box and since we print out a lot of pictures this was a no brainier especially for the price. I have tried knock off ink and nothing compares to the OEM ink from Epson. Maybe it's the pictures we print out but the ink does run out before we can use all the sheets of paper so now we have a stack of photo paper and only 2 ink cartridges. I would suggest not to try and go cheap with generic ink cartridges and just get the OEM packs from Epson. Sure it's more money but less headache in the end. Love this product. Has everything I need for making photos paper and ink in one complete set. The cost is very good the best around. I like getting the bigger package for my printer. Always have bought it this way, T5570-270 I would like to be able to get this in the future. Great company Epson. this 2 pack IS THE WAY TO GO!! single pack is 27-28.,only 20.00 each in 2 pack--a true no brainer. i have had my printer for about 5 years, never a seconds trouble and photo lab print quality. First of all, the package came a day earlier than expected--always a good thing. I have been printing non-stop and got 164 photos from ONE cartridge. Since the pack is over $25 you get free shipping, so that averages to 12c a print. Very competitive price. I've had my printer since 2006 and use it a lot. It's quite a workhorse. I am very happy to buy ink in a two-pack.
I only gave the paper 3 stars because I fully expect to get the same number of photos out of the 2nd cartridge, which means I will need 58 more sheets. Nice problem to have! Thank you I have had this printer for several years now and have printed hundreds of photos. The ink doesn't dry out and you get great vivid crisp prints. Best deal there is for the money. Overall this is a good product, with nice photos. But, I have never had enough ink to print the 270 photos. On two occasions, with over 1/2 ink remaining, I received a message from printer that I was out of ink. At this point I could not print anymore photos. I have even printed with borders to save on ink, but still run out of ink before paper. Epson will buy any paper that has not been used, but that is a pain, and I have even been shorted $ on this. I don't quite understand why Epson can't supply enought ink to print 270 photos. On other occasions, when picture quality is bad, you have to clean print heads, sometimes more than once, which takes a substantial amount of ink. I have purchased a new Canon printer which gives wonderful results with more options, but I still plan to use my Epson for some 4x6 prints I have been trying to use my new packet of paper and ink all afternoon. Instead of color prints, I am getting faint, monocolor or muted color prints, unuseable! I have no idea if the Epson printer is to blame, or if I was sold flawed cartridges or paper. What a terrific waste of money, time and resources! This item came up when I purchased the printer....made an assumption that it was the correct item that Amazon was prompting me to purchase. Turned out to be for a different printer, however the good news is that Amazon refunded the full amount to me and I purchased the correct item. All ended wonderful!! Amazon kindly provides a check for the consumer that they are ordering the correct product for their printer... Unfortunately Amazon's information is COMPLETELY INCORRECT. These cartridges will NOT fit in the PictureMate PM240. The product is excellent, Epson Picture Mate Photo Paper, glossy. Printing with the Epson printer is great, and the photo paper is excellent. My only complaint is not being able easily to repeat getting the product sent directly by Amazon.com and needing to spend more money on shipping because some other vendor is providing the product. If you are able to help me, I would be grateful. Amazon sells a pack with the PM260, this photo pack and a case. WHY SELL THESE IN A PACK IF THE INK CARTRIDGE DOESN'T FIT THE PRINTER. This is completely ridiculous!! Why even offer this combo pack if they part don't all work together?! I feel completely cheated by Amazon on this one!
